We received a lot of constructive criticism from the audience that helped us develop our video. It helped us change things an it also helped us to go against some of the criticism and stick to what we thought was best for our video.
The audience thought that some shots of the video went on for too long for example the arguing scene. Also that one of the arguing shots showed that the person closest to the camera was in focus and the person in front of them was out of focus and this was meant to be the other way around which the audience picked up on. We tried our best to replace this shot with another but we could not find any other shot we could have used. We saw this as a
minor problem and it only showed that the singer was in focus instead because she is in fact the center and the main actress of the music video. The reverse shots at the end of the video was too long as-well according to the feedback but we stuck to it and felt that it was unnecessary to change the whole of the last bit of the music video. One major problem that we thought was in the music video and that we thought was very visible was the fact that the actress looks at the camera at one point. We thought that the audience wouldn't realize this but they did. Because we could not replace this shot with any other shot we added a cross-fade transition which ended up going with the beat of the song when it faded to black then faded back into the shot. Overall we felt that we did our best into taking the feedback in consideration and we did make changes, but there were some things that simply couldn't be changed.
